Plotting on the EVITA Map
Here follow the typical steps involved in plotting on the Map selected entities affected by the selected Crisis:
Flights
- Designate the appropriate context from the EVITA Selector
- Open the Flight List link from the Flights Portlet:
- Launch a query - i.e. flights from 1400 to 1900 in BI Airspace:
- This returns a list of flights:
- Next click on the Compute Impacted Flights button:
- The impacted flights are now checked in the Impacted column:
- In this example we select five of such impacted flights:
- The next action is to click on the Plot Evita button:
- The selected flights have been plotted on the Map, against the selected crisis:
Airspaces
- Query Airspaces to produce the desired airspaces list:
- ... and click on the Compute Impacted Airspaces button:
- Select the desired items then click on the Plot Evita button
- Use the required Map functions to display the data in the most convenient way

Aerodromes
Here follow the typical steps required to display Aerodromes affected by a Crisis:
- Query Aerodromes:
- ... and click on the Compute Impacted Aerodromes button:
- Select the desired items then click on the Plot Evita button
- Use the required Map functions to display the data in the most convenient way

Note: The definition of Impacted Aerodrome is "vertically up to FL100 and laterally a radius of 40 Nm". Aerodromes that are close to a contaminated area may also appear in red due to the defined aerodrome buffer set in EVITA.
