CHMI
The CCMS Web can be used by authenticated clients of the NM to submit and trace operational problem reports or user requirements (generically called 'claims').
CHMI
The CCMS Web can be used by authenticated clients of the NM to submit and trace operational problem reports or user requirements (generically called 'claims').
NOP Portal
The NOP Portal aims at facilitating the user’s access to operational information and provides ATFCM information which is consolidated and displayed according to ATFCM phases : Strategic, Pre-Tactical, Tactical & Post Operations.
The following functions are included: display of information (ANM, AIM), flight information (flight list, route and history), access to environment data, (ATS routes, CDRs) and access to flight plan testing facility (IFPUV).
CHMI
CHMI provides a graphical interface to the Network Operations System which enables users to display data and graphical information (such as routes, route attributes, airspaces, flight plan tracks, etc.) via map displays. As these maps are updated dynamically, the CHMI provides a user-friendly display of ‘real time’ information.
To accommodate the variety of users’ needs, several different CHMI services have been developed. Each service consists of a subset of functions customised per usage profile.
Important: We strongly advise that CHMI should be used only professionals experimented in flight planning. To fully benefit from this solution, a daily use is highly recommended, after appropriate training. If this is not the case, CHMI should not be considered.
CCMS Web
The intended audience for the CCMS Web application is only Aircraft Operators, or organisations that have received flight planning delegation from them and also ANSP’s with prior authorisation (see below).
This application enables authenticated users to access and submit operational incident reports to the Network Manager Operations Centre.
User ID (Token)
Unique ID used by the customer to access the protected pages of the NM Services.
B2B
The B2B Services is a Web Services interface which allows direct interactions between Customers and EUROCONTROL applications.
These Web Services will enable the validation of flight plans (equivalent to the IFPUV application) and Route Generation (equivalent to the Daedalus application).
Cost of access to NM B2B
EUROCONTROL provides two (2) certificates per organisation and location free of charge.
A fee of 200 € will be charged for each additional certificate (i.e. more than two at one location).
CCID
The Client Connection Identification (CCID) number (000000nnnn) is an unique number allocated to the customer.
IFPUV
An IFPS validation system (IFPUV) has been made available to enable message originators, who so wish, to submit their flight plan to a dedicated test address for flight plan validation, prior to their submission to the operational IFPS.
The aim of this system is to provide the means with which message originators may improve the automatic processing rate of flight plans submitted to the operational IFPS.
Route Generation
The ability to request EUROCONTROL to provide valid routing options.
Messaging
This service can only be requested by Aircraft Operators. It covers the provision of ATFCM and/or IFPS messages by EUROCONTROL direct to an ANSP and to Aircraft Operator, Handling Agent or Designated Representative's SITA or AFTN address. The address/es to which the Network Operations Systems send these messages are either stored in the Network Operations Systems and reflect the requirements of the customer or an address is derived, by default, from the message/s received from the customer.
A customer can therefore request to have his messages sent by EUROCONTROL to specific addresses e.g. local handling agent. Modifications to the addressing are carried out at the request of the originator specifically requested by the customer.
RPL
The repetitive flight plan (RPL) application enables an Aircraft Operator to create RPL list files to submit to EUROCONTROL in the appropriate electronic format.
Data Distribution Services (DDS)/AO
Data Distribution Services (DDS) allow the eligible aircraft operator with an ICAO code to receive multiple categories of enhanced real-time flight data from EUROCONTROL.
ETFMS Flight Data message (EFD)
The EFD is basically an extract of flight data that is available in the ETFMS.
The purpose of the ETFMS flight data message is to inform users with the latest updates and about the latest state of a flight in ETFMS.
Flight Update messages (FUM)
The FUM messages provide CDM airports with an accurate estimated landing time of arriving flights, improving the planning of outbound flights.
The exchange of dynamic CDM information between EUROCONTROL and the Airport is realised by sending Flight Update Messages (FUM) from EUROCONTROL to the Airports concerned, providing the airport CDM platform with e.g. the flight status and estimate landing times.
NM Applications
Please note that for each Collaboration Application access, the NOP portal service will be provided by default.
Important Note for ANSPs
The request for access to the CCMS Web may have to be approved by the representative within the cutomer's organisation who is responsible for the submission of ATFCM-related reports to EUROCONTROL. This representative should be assigned to the regulatory or safety bodies of customer's organisation.
The Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network (AFTN) and the Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques (SITA) Network are worldwide systems for the exchange of messages .
ICAO Code
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) code.
If you are ANSP or Airport: a 4-letter airport location indicator (e.g. LSZH for Zürich or HECA for Cairo).
If you are Aircraft Operator: a 3-letter airline designator (e.g. AFR for Air France or EZY for easyJet UK Ltd).
ICAO Area Code
A 2-letter code where the first letter is allocated by continent and represents a country or group of countries within that continent. The second letter generally represents a country within that region.
IATA Code
International Air Transport Association (IATA)
If you are ANSP or Airport: a 3-letter airport identifier (e.g. ZRH for Zürich or CAI for Cairo).
If you are Aircraft Operator: a 2-letter/number airline designator (e.g. AF for Air France or U2 for easyJet UK Ltd).
Important notice:
Users who may want to subscribe to the NM B2B product must be aware that they shall develop programming interfaces with their own applications before being able to benefit from the NM B2B.
