The following instructions will guide you in uploading and publishing a self-contained web site archive in the Crisis Management Portlet.
1. Start a WIND session
Login to the WIND editor and create/load a View to proceed with the website upload.
Note: This tutorial assumes that you are familiar with the WIND environment - and more specifically to the Login and Views notions.
Please refer to the following sections if it is not the case: Points 1 and 2 from the Crisis Management - Step by Step section, and The View Concept section.
2. Prepare the Website Folder
Compress, in the .zip format, the self-contained web site folder with the following filename pattern: the archived folder filename must ends with or be equal to ’web.zip’ ('myweb.zip', 'crisis2_web.zip',…) and the first page of your website must be named to index.html.
3. Upload the Archive
A. Select the appropriate target folder in the File resources tree, get the contextual menu with a right-click of the mouse, and click on the Add a file resource command:
B. Set the file resource Type to OTHER:
C. Select the self-contained web site archive (web.zip in this example), then click on the Ok button to upload the file:

Attention: In cases where a file with the same name is already present (i.e. when the web content has been updated), you will need to first delete the existing document before uploading the new file:

4. Configure the Portlet
A. In the Typed tree section, locate the CRISIS_SUPPORT_PC entity and open it for edition (right-click):

B. In the Details > Bottom Link tab, click on the TAC phase:
.
This activates the corresponding editor:
C. Edit the Bottom Link (or create one if need be) and specify the following:
- Label: the string of words which will be shown as link in the Portlet (in this example, 'Information on Aviation Hazards'),
- Link: In the URI field, enter the path to the index.html file of your website, using the following format: _res [optional: /name_of_folder/] / name_of_archive_file / name_of_index.file (in this example: '_res/_web_sites_/web/index.html').
Note: If the URI field is not available, click on the
button to switch mode between internal and external link.
When done, click on the OK button.
5. Publish the View
The last step will be to Publish the View:
6. Check the Link
The link should now be present at the bottom of the Crisis Management Portlet (in the Tactical phase):
