Settings Parameters (WIND)
Note: Please refer to  the WIND Online Help (or WIND User Guide) for detailed information on the WIND software.

2.1 WIND parameters
(1) There are 4 new WIND parameters added in the application:
a) SLOT_IMPROVEMENT_REQUEST_AUTOMATIC_PROCESSING_ENABLED: allows to enable/disable the slot improvement automatic rejection mechanism. Disabled by default.
b) LOCAL_AVERAGE_DELAY_THRESHOLD: Minimum flight delay for slot improvement request.
c) DUPLICATE_REQUEST_REJECTION_ENABLED: allows to enable/disable the duplicate request rejection mechanism. Enabled by default.
d) DUPLICATE_REQUEST_ELAPSED_TIME_THRESHOLD: Minimum delay interval between 2 identical requests.
(2) The WIND parameters can be found using the following path: PC  E_HELPDESK_PC.

Predefined Response

1. The EHELPDESK_NM_USER often responds requests in the same way. Consequently, the EHELPDESK application allows the EHELPDESK_NM_USER to select a predefined response type, which in turn inputs a corresponding text within the E-Helpdesk response text.
2. The predefined response type has:
a. A name that is unique across the whole EHELPDESK application, and
b. An associated response text
3. The predefined response types are defined in WIND: RESPONSE_TYPES.
4. The predefined response type name is not part of the response: only its text is, i.e. EHELPDESK does not trace if a response text was input manually or via the application of a predefined response type.
